Info
For this Grief Gathering, Erin will be joined by artist Jenny Gaskell. Together we'll discuss Erin's somatic singing practice and explore the neurological link between music and grief. What would your grief sound like? How does it sound likw today? Together we'll explore these questions in a safe and inclusive space.
Grief Gatherings are open to people of all ages, genders, backgrounds and beliefs. You're invited to share your experiences and reflections and death but there's no pressure to speak. Listening and being present is enough.
This session coincides with World Suicide Prevention Day, on 10th September every year, by the International Association for Suicide Prevention, raising awareness of suicide and suicide prevention globally. We're honouring this day by coming together for our Grief Gathering.
These gatherings small, limited to 12 people maximum. Booking is essential.
Part of our ongoing programme Loved and Lost, which explores how to live well with Grief, in community with others.
At The Library thank Fevered Sleep for the inspiration and support to establish our Grief Gatherings.
