Info
We'll be reading Liverpool by Benjamin Zephaniah and an extract from Jeff Young's Wild Twin.
There's no need to read ahead, we'll read together in the session!
Our monthly reading group, led this month by Joe, is a chance to explore literature in its original language and translated into English.
We've read poetry, letters and prose in languages ranging from Portuguese to Japanese discussing the context, history and culture around them, reading and listening together. There's no pressure to read aloud, you can listen and read for yourself for a moment of pause.
Open to everyone including those with English as an additional language, those studying ESOL courses or anyone interested in reading international literature.
