Info
Wellbeing workshop with Abeer Al-awlaqi, aiming to help women feel understood, confident, and in control of their health during menopause. Part of our Colour of Pomegranates programme that brings women from all backgrounds together to meet their neighbours.
Wednesday 25th March in Bootle Library
11am - 1pm
The workshop will a create space for women to openly talk about menopause, access information and advice and build peer support. We'll co-create a resource in the session which will then be translated and shared with other local groups supporting women seeking asylum within our local community.
Abeer is a registered nutritionist and menopause coach, and supports women through the changes that come with midlife using simple, realistic nutrition and lifestyle advice. She works with women from different backgrounds and communities, especially those who may feel isolated or unsure where to start with their health, always in a warm, practical, and supportive way.
Thankyou to The North West Strategic Migration Partnership's for their Small Grant supporting these workshops.
