The Colour of Pomegranates
The Colour of Pomegranates is a relaxed, creative meeting point where sanctuary-seeking women meet and connect with local women over conversation and artist-led activities.
More information
Colour of Pomegranates is a relaxed creative space for sanctuary-seeking women to connect with each other and local women through conversation and creativity. A social space to find solidarity, friendship and company, open to all women.
We welcome fluent English-speaking women who would like to volunteer with the project, offering newly arrived women the opportunity to practice their conversational English in a fun and informal way.
Sessions take place on the first Saturday of every month. Check out our listings to find out what is happening and for special events, trips and midweek artist-led workshops.
Children and babies are always welcome (and they often outnumber the grown-ups!) and alongside Saturday sessions, fun activities for children are led by artist Abi Lake.
We can pay your travel expenses if cost is a barrier. If you have any specific access needs to support taking part.
To let us know you are coming, to find out more information, or if you have question, please email our Library Producer: joe.goff@sefton.gov.uk.
