Did you know most of our ATL team are practising artists, writers and musicians? Here’s some of what they have been getting up to recently when not working with communities in Sefton.
Library Producer Joe Goff has been working with Reduce to produce a Supercut of the Homotopia Archive.
Kitchen Library Creative Producer, Greg Herbert is showing new works exploring the David and Indrė Roberts Collection at Castlefield Gallery.
Linny Venables’ show Sweet Factory is at the Atkinson until 28th February 2026 and she is giving a talk about the project on the 12th in The Atkinson. You can book your place for the talk here.
You can see The Colour of Pomegranates Creative Lead Karema Munassar’s work on show with Art.Uk until November 16th.
Nicki McCubbing, Creative Producer for Squish!, released a book earlier this year with Metal about The 86 bus, chronicling overheard snippets from the bus route. The book has been in Copenhagen this week for the Listening Biennial and is available to buy from local publisher and bookshop Dead Ink.
Our Head of Audiences Jessie is also a writer and recently wrote about Rimrose Valley and Kes by Ken Loach in STAT Magazine.
Sara Wolff, our Programme Producer, is a sound artist and musician and recently composed the score for a film called Carrot Cake, officially selected for Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York later this month.
