Artist Office

New opportunity for artists: Artist Office!
We’re launching a new meeting point for artists to connect with other creatives and conquer their to-do lists and arts admin.
📆 Tuesday 10th February (second Tuesday of every month)
11am-3pm
Crosby Library
Want to know more about how you can use the library space creatively? What spaces are available and how to utilise them for creative practice? Every second Tuesday of the month we’ll have a drop-in for artists with our creative producers to work in the same room. Everyone is welcome whether you just need a body double or have something to unpick within your practice and want the advice of fellow artists and producers.
As well as the drop-ins we’ll have sessions shaped by YOU and what you want most out of working together which could include archive tours, artist talks, funding advice and sharing sessions.
Advice Sessions
For our first drop-in there’ll be four 20 minute slots available for advice on Arts Council England's Research and Development for Individuals. Are you planning on applying for the next deadline 26th Feb? Join us for our first Artist Office drop-in sessions to get feedback on your application.
The sessions will be with Lesley Taker (she/her), a freelance Liverpool-based arts producer, curator, writer and digital arts specialist. She is particularly interested in how technology is changing contemporary art practice and discourse, and in artworks that address fluid identities, shifting truths, or unstable narratives.
👉🏻 *Please note* Email us at hello@atthelibrary.co.uk to book a slot and find out what to prepare for the session so we can best support you!
