Recipe for Wild Garlic Butter

We ate this wild garlic butter with bread and wild garlic soup, as we wove bags from scrap fabric, plants and waste paper during Hannah Fincham's first workshop of her residency 'Seasoning'. 

The next day, we set out on a walk to Derby Park with our bags, to forage wild garlic and nettles. These were then dried: the first two ingredients of the wild spice rack that Hannah is developing with us for Bootle Library.

You will need

  • 250g (grams) unsalted butter, at room temp
  • handful wild garlic, finely chopped
  • to taste Salt

How to make it

  1. Mix wild garlic with butter and add salt to taste
