At The Library are about to begin a new programme of creative activity in Netherton Library.

We believe everyone has “gifts of the heart, the head and the hand” to offer to their community.  We are looking for local people to support our plans to activate the potential of their local library, as a place for art and people.

We would love to hear from people who live, work or have a connection  to Netherton, who might be interested in supporting our new work there, and share their skills and interests with their neighbours. Our programme includes food, families and young people, environmental justice and the ecology of the canal, and conversations around grief and loss. Over the course of a year, we will be planting seeds of ideas for projects, and watching them grow and flourish into something fruitful.

Whether you’re a budding environmentalist, love making seasonal jam or ferments, or are interested in setting up places for young people to play, explore and learn – we would love to hear from you!
